Dr. Srivastava spoke on the theme 'XR Education in the Global South', contributing perspectives from state universities and public education ecosystems and emphasizing the importance of frugal, contextually relevant, and accessible XR solutions.
The visit also enabled deeper academic conversations with the XTIC team, laying the foundation for future research collaborations with the Department of HCD at IIIT Delhi. These emerging collaborations position HCD to lead national efforts in XR from an HCI perspective, especially in areas such as XR pedagogy, UX, and spatial design.
