About the Speaker
Dr. Shoko Kimura is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Intelligent Information Technology at Aoyama Gakuin University. She received her Doctor of Engineering degree from Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan in 2024. Her research interests include Mental/Autism/Developmental Disability Support, Inclusive Design, Digital Rehabilitation, Digital Fabrication, Media Art, and Interaction.
She previously worked at Yamagata University as a researcher and at The University of Tokyo as an Academic Specialist and Technician. Her studies are connected to the realization of an inclusive society. She is a member of ACM and IEEE.
